Falzarago

This itinerary is of medium intensity, thanks to the beginning downhill road towards the Casalucense Sanctuary, that is surrounded by a green spot, like a painting. The Sanctuary is located on the southern slopes of Monte Cifalco. It dates back to the IX century, when Benedictine monks of the St. Michele Arcangelo Monastery built it on an ancient Roman villa. Inside this Sanctuary there is a wooden statue representing the Madonna delle Indulgenze (XIV-XV century).
